The Role of Micro and Small Industries (IMK) On Processing Sector In
Indonesia

This research is to analyze the role of micro and small industries (IMK) on
processing sector in Indonesia. It usesdescriptive quantitative analysis method and
statistical analysis to understand the correlation between calculation results and
research theories. It uses the E-views 9 as the analysis tool, and panel data
regression analysis with fixed effect model as the analysis model. Its data uses the
secondary data of the processing sector of GNP, number of IMK’s business units,
IMK’s workforces, the export of IMK, and IMK’s capital from 2011-2015.The
analysis result using panel data regression method shows that the variables of the
number of IMK’s business unit, IMK’s workforces, IMK’s exports, and IMK’s
capitals are mutually influencing the growth of processing industry. This research
also produce the data that the variables of the number of IMK’s business unit,
IMK’s exports, and IMK’s capitals influence positively on the growth of
processing industries, while the variable of IMK’s workforces influences
negatively on the growth of processing industries in Indonesia.

Peran Industri Mikro dan Kecil (IMK) Terhadap Sektor Pengolahan di
Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Industri Mikro dan Kecil (IMK)
terhadap sektor pengolahan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
analisis deskriptif, kuantitatif serta analisis statistik untuk mengetahui keterkaitan
hasil perhitungan dengan teori-teori penelitian. Alat analisis yang digunankan
adalah E-views 9, model analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel
dengan fixed effect model. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa PDB
sektor pengolahan, jumlah unit usaha IMK, tenaga kerja IMK, ekspor IMK dan
modal IMK dari tahun 2011-2015.Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan metode
regresi data panel menunjukkan bahwa variabel jumlah unit usaha IMK, tenaga
kerja IMK, ekspor IMK dan modal IMK secara bersama-sama berpengaruh
terhadap pertumbuhan industri pengolahan.Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan data
bahwajumlah unit usaha IMK, ekspor IMK dan Modal IMK berpengaruh positif
terhadap pertumbuhan industri pengolahan. Sedangkan variabel tenaga kerja IMK
berpengaruh negatif terhadap pertumbuhan industri pengolahan di Indonesia.
