Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan kinerja
perekonomian suatu negara. Peranan pemerintah dalam good governance diharapkan
dapat mendorong pencapaian peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Melalui good
government governance yang diukur menggunakan indikator voice and
accountability, political stability, government effectiveness, regulatory quality, rule
of law, dan control of corruption yang diterapkan dapat mendorong kestabilan
perekonomian.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh good
government governance dan tingkat penerimaan pajak terhadap pertumbuhan
ekonomi di negara-negara kawasan dunia. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
adalah data panel dengan data time series dari tahun 2010 hingga 2014 dan data
cross section sebanyak 73 negara-negara kawasan dunia dengan model regresi panel
data yang digunakan adalah Random Effect Model. Menggunakan data pertumbuhan
ekonomi sebagai variabel dependen dan data good governance yang meliputi
indikator voice and accountability, political stability, government effectiveness,
regulatory quality, rule of law, dan control of corupption dan tingkat penerimaan
pajak sebagai variabel independen. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa variabel
voice and accountabilityberpengaruh secara negatif. Variabel government
effectiveness, rule of law, dan Tingkat Penerimaan Pajak berpengaruh secara positif.
Sementara itu, variabel political stability, regulatory quality, dan control of
corruption tertidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.

Economic growth is one of the indicators along a country success its
economic performance. Government roles in good governance are expected to
encourage any achievement by increasing economic growth. Through good
governance as measured using the indicators, voice and accountability, political
stability, government effectiveness, regulatory quality, rule of law, dan control of
corruption that is applied to encourage the stability of the economy. This research
aims to analyze the effect of good governance and tax revenue towards economic
growth in countries around the world. The data used in this research is the data
panel with time series data from 2010 to 2014 and cross section data about 73
countries around the world with regression model using Random Effect Model.
Economic growth data are used as the dependent variable and good governance
data which are contains, voice and accountability, political stability, government
effectiveness, regulatory quality, rule of law, control of corruption and tax revenue
as independent variable. The result showed that the variableof voice and
accountability have negative effect. government effectiveness, rule of law, and tax
revenue variableshave positive effect. Meanwhile, political stability, regulatory
quality, and control of corruption variablesdo not affecting economic growth.
