Penelitian inibertujuanuntuk mendapatkan bukti empiris terkait pengaruhkecerdasan
emosional dan minat belajar mahasiswa terhadap tingkat pemahaman akuntansi.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan jenis data primer yang diperoleh
dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Populasi penelitianyaitumahasiswa S1 Akuntansi
Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel
dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling dengan Metode analisis data
menggunakanStructur Equation Model(SEM) dengan alat olah data SmartPLS 3.0.0.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwakecerdasan emosional terhadap tingkat
pemahaman akuntansi tidak terdukung. Namun, minat belajar terhadap tingkat
pemahaman akuntansi terdukung.
Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Minat Belajar dan Tingkat Pemahaman
Akuntansi.

THE EFFECT OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND INTERESTTO
LEARNING ON ACCOUNTING UNDERSTANDING LEVELS
(Case Study in Bachelor Program ofAccounting Students, Faculty of Economics
and Business, University of Lampung)

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence related to the influence of
emotional intelligence and student learning interest on the level of understanding of
accounting. This study uses quantitative methodsand types of primary data obtained
by using questionnaires. The population is Bachelor Program ofAccounting students,
Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung. The sampling technique
was done by purposive sampling method with data analysis methods using the
Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0.0 data processing tools. The
results of this study indicate that emotional intelligence on the level of understanding
of accounting is not supported. While learning interest towards the level of
understanding of accounting is supported.
